FDA Approves First Generic Nitenpyram Tablets for Fleas in Dogs and Cats
FDA approved generic nitenpyram tablets for treatment of flea infestations in dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens weighing at least two pounds and at least four weeks old. FDA states the tablets are bioequivalent to Capstar and work by interfering with the flea nervous system.
