JAAHA Study Finds Regenerative Biomaterial Preserved More Alveolar Ridge Height After Tooth Extraction in Dogs
A JAAHA study evaluated 59 extraction sites in 47 client-owned dogs across 10 practices and compared sockets treated with a regenerative bone adhesive with untreated controls. AAHA reports that treated sites maintained significantly more alveolar ridge dimensions, including nearly 2 mm more buccal ridge height at long-term follow-up.
